Hughson High’s Beau Blake has done nothing but produce since becoming eligible after the transfer sit-out period expired.

He continued to show up for the Trans Valley League champion Huskies in one of their final league series against Livingston. In Hughson’s 19-4 series-opening win, the junior infielder came through with a grand slam, one walk, four RBI and scored a pair of runs.

The fans noticed his performance, voting him The Bee’s Boys Prep of the Week.

Blake came in first, collecting 47% of the votes in the weekly poll. He finished ahead of baseball players Jackson Howell (Big Valley Christian) and last week’s Prep of the Week, Ryne Moore (Downey) who were second and third, respectively.
