Stephen Colbert mocks Trump after finding out how many ads he's run during 'The Late Show'
Stephen Colbert was shocked Wednesday night to find out that the Trump campaign buys ads during The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. In fact, Trump has run nearly 1,200 ads during The Late Show, despite the fact that Colbert rarely, if ever, speaks kindly of the president. Colbert even asked, “Has he seen how I talk about him on this show?” But Trump does indeed advertise during The Late Show. A Trump ad attacking Joe Biden even aired in some markets Wednesday night, not long after Colbert used this opportunity to allude to the president’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, saying, “Well I guess this isn’t the first time Trump’s paid someone to spank him.”

STEPHEN COLBERT: There's one show that Trump has put a lot of ad dollars into that kind of surprised me, because Trump has aired almost 1,200 commercials on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." Wow. Has he seen how I talk about him on this show?
KYLIE MAR: During what has already been the most expensive campaign season in history, Stephen Colbert was shocked to learn that, along with reruns of "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Andy Griffith Show," President Trump has been buying ad time during "The Late Show." While the Trump campaign is reportedly dangerously low on cash, having already pulled advertising in some key states, it's easy to see why Colbert was surprised.
STEPHEN COLBERT: Well, I guess it wouldn't be the first time Trump's paid someone to spank him.

KYLIE MAR: A Trump ad attacking Joe Biden actually did air in certain markets during "The Late Show" Wednesday night, not long after Colbert used the White House's latest claim about Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic to take a couple more shots at the President.
