Stolen narcotics in St. John's break and enter prompts police warning

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is issuing a public warning following a break and entry at a home in the west end of St. John's late Saturday night.

Police say a number of items were taken from the home around midnight, including a quantity of narcotics and other medications.

While the investigation is ongoing, RNC are advising the public that, if not taken properly, the stolen medications can pose "serious health risks."

Anyone with information related to the medications or the break and enter is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
