Strathroy-Caradoc Council Adopts Alternate Location
STRATHROY-CARADOC - In a thoughtful move to enhance community involvement and accessibility, Council has officially sanctioned the Caradoc Community Centre as the venue for two forthcoming council meetings. This decision marks an important shift from the conventional setting at the Municipal Office, reflecting the council's commitment to inclusivity and public participation. Scheduled for Monday, May 6, and Monday, July 15, 2024, both sessions will commence at 6:00 p.m., as confirmed during the council meeting on April 2.
The dialogue at the council meeting revealed a proactive approach to addressing the logistical and technical challenges of hosting off-site meetings. The conversation delved into the nuances of ensuring effective audio and video recording capabilities outside the traditional City Hall environment. Brianna Hammer-Keidel, Director of Legal & Legislative Services and Clerk, outlined the proposed acquisition of combination microphone and recording devices.
