Strictly drops first-look clip of 2023 cast
Strictly Come Dancing has been given a first-look teaser showing the 2023 contestants limbering up for the upcoming series.
Shared on Strictly's official Instagram account, the short clip gives viewers a first glimpse at this year's 15 celebrities and their "signature dance move".
"Look who's warming up for a brand new series of #Strictly," reads the caption. "We're back in the Ballroom this Autumn!"

The first celebrity to show off their moves is Love Island star Zara McDermott who confesses to having "noodley arms", before West End actor Layton Williams admits he's partial to "a good old pop or a shimmy".
EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier lets out a laugh before, pointing to a woman off-camera, quipping: "This lady's so worried!".
Next up, Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy debuts his "hip wiggle", whilst Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington removes her shoes before jumping about.

Journalist Angela Rippon admits her signature dance move is age-appropriate, the Charleston, before showing off an impressive swivel action step that's typical of the dance.
Meanwhile, comedian Eddie Kadi admits "it's all about the hips" for him, paying tribute to his Congolese heritage with the Ndombolo.
Casualty actor Nigel Harman shows off a foot shuffle, whilst former Robot Wars presenter Angela Scanlon waves her hands in the air and kicks her feet, explaining her move "goes a little something like this", before going on to attempt a twerk.

Family Fortunes host Les Dennis's move is much more specific. "The shuffle in Shuffle Off to Buffalo," he says, referring to the song from the 1933 musical film 42nd Street.
Tennis legend Annabelle Croft, who was announced as the 14th celebrity cast member, reveals her signature move is the floss, as taught to her by BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent.
Bobby Brazier then reappears showing off his "caterpillar" move, followed by BBC Asian Network breakfast show presenter Nikita Kanda who shows off her 'Kanda Club' move she adopts when out clubbing with friends.

"On the dance floor it's more David Brent," admits Paralympian Jody Cundy, referencing the character made famous by Ricky Gervais in the British sitcom The Office.
Coronation Street star Ellie Leach goes to demonstrate a move similar to a fellow contestant but has to change her mind last minute.
"I like to call it the worm but Bobby Brazier calls it the caterpillar, but he's stolen that," she explains. "So i'm going to show you the Ellie Leach Lean".
Emmerdale and Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas is confident in his choice. "The robot," he says, springing into action, adding: "Once you start, you just can't stop".
The clip ends with Everybody's Talking About Jamie star Layton Williams showing off his shimmy and pop, before bowing and giving thanks to his imaginary audience.
The clip caption confirms that Strictly Come Dancing will be back "in the autumn", though an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
