Rom-com fans, rejoice: Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney are already looking for their next project together.

On Tuesday's red carpet for the premiere of her new horror movie "Immaculate" at the SXSW Film & TV Festival, Sweeney spoke about her "Anyone but You" costar.

Sweeney called the rave reviews about their chemistry — and comparisons to other legendary rom-com duos such as Richard Gere and Julia Roberts — "absolutely incredible." She also confirmed that, much like Gere and Roberts, who reunited for "Runaway Bride" nine years after the success of "Pretty Woman," she and Powell are planning to work together again.

"I love working with Glen," Sweeney told Business Insider. "I know that we're actively fielding different projects and seeing what's out there for us."

"Anyone but You" became a sleeper hit at the box office, picking up steam after its Christmas weekend release and ultimately making over $200 million at the global box office. Fans were drawn to Sweeney and Powell's dynamic, which echoed throughout their sizzling press tour — even leading to rumors that the two were having a secret affair, despite Sweeney's long-term relationship with her fiancé, the businessman Jonathan Davino.

But Sweeney and Powell both shut down those rumors, and Powell previously told Business Insider's Jason Guerrasio that embodying their "Anyone but You" characters, Bea and Ben, on the press tour and getting people talking about their chemistry was all Sweeney's idea.

"I'll pretty much give Sydney all the credit for this," Powell said. "I don't have the mental capacity to pull anything like this off, but she's very smart. She's very smart. And look, Sydney and I do have authentic chemistry."

"I had such a wonderful journey with her on this thing. But in terms of actual dating and actually being together?" Powell laughed when asked about the affair rumors.

Powell also confirmed in the interview that he and Sweeney had talked about doing another movie together and that he'd "work with her again in a heartbeat."

This is a busy time for Sweeney, who executive produced and starred in both 2023's "Anyone but You" and her latest film "Immaculate." As it turns out, despite their release dates, she did the latter first — and going right into a fluffy rom-com fresh off of a disturbing, gore-filled horror movie was surprisingly nice.

"I actually filmed 'Immaculate' first, and then the next week I started 'Anyone but You,'" Sweeney told BI. "It was a nice therapeutic release. It was nice."

Check out "Immaculate," led by a raw and brilliant Sweeney, when it hits theaters on March 22.
