Taylor Swift braves cold temps, and a few boos, to see Chiefs play in Buffalo
Taylor Swift braved the chill and a few parking-lot boos from Buffalo fans on Sunday as she arrived at Highmark Stadium to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce in the Bills-Chiefs game.
Clad in a white jacket, red beanie and black pants, she blew kisses at the onlookers, which included a boisterous Buffalo fan yelling, “Bills by a billion!”
Meanwhile, the stadium offered menu items based on two of her songs. The Karma Quesadilla, from her 2022 hit “Karma” was a three-layer wonder stuffed with chicken tenders, bacon and cilantro ranch and topped with pork belly.
Bad Blood Waffle Fries were piled on one side with Kansas City Cattleman’s BBQ pork, coleslaw and bread-and-butter pickles, and on the other with Buffalo chicken and blue cheese, commemorating 2014’s “Bad Blood.”
The powerhouse songstress landed just after 4 p.m. at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in her private jet, the Democrat and Chronicle reported, noting that she had not stopped in the city on tour since 2011.
With her was player Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes. She also hung out with Kelce’s brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who arrived earlier that day with wife Kylie and parents Donna and Ed Kelce.
It was the Chiefs’ second playoff-season game, and the second one she’s been to. Last week she braved subzero temps in a custom red puffer coat bearing her love’s name and jersey number. Swift has attended six of the last seven games played by Kansas City.
