Taylor Swift's Eras Tour era is officially coming to an end. The singer herself announced the news, giving yet another heartfelt speech mid-concert while playing a show at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium.

On June 13, 2024, to commemorate the 100th show of her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift got candid about the impact this tour, the biggest and most successful of her career, has had on her, revealing the chapter will come to an end with 2024.

"This is actually the 100th show of the Eras Tour," Swift told the crowd at Anfield Stadium. "That doesn't feel like a real statistic to me because this [tour] has definitely been exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life."

"The celebration of the 100th show, for me, means [that] this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," Swift continued. “That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour.”

Swift officially kicked off her Eras tour on March 17, 2023, at Glendale's State Farm Stadium in Arizona. Since then, the show has traveled across America, Asia, Australia, and Europe, with a second North American leg scheduled for the fall of 2024. After the release of her long-anticipated 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swift's Eras tour underwent a slight revamp to include new songs and costumes.

As of now, the last concert on the Eras Tour is scheduled to take place on December 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada, which will mark the 152nd stop on the tour overall. It's unclear if she'll announce any encores for the same month or if this will be the actual last show of the tour.

"You have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour, and you know, I think that this tour has really become my entire life," Swift said in her Liverpool speech.

"[This tour] has taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don't know what they were anymore," she continued. “Al I do when I'm not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups, and think about what you might want to hear and just, really, when I'm not on the stage, I'm dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.”

Swift wrapped up her speech by thanking fans for "every single ounce of effort" put in to make it to a show and making the tour reach "triple digits of shows" before going on to perform "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)."
