These theaters are showing $1 movies in Stanislaus County. Here’s how long the deal lasts

Are you looking for indoor activities to beat the heat in Stanislaus County?

As temperatures continue to push past 100 degrees this week, Tennessee-based Regal Cinemas is offering discounted movie tickets and snacks as part of its summer movie series, according to its website.

“Summer is here, school is out, and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids,” the American movie theater chain wrote on its site.

The Regal Summer Movie Express series, which ends Aug. 7, includes $1 tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for select family-friendly films.

Movie options include “Trolls Band Together” and “Minions: The Rise Of Gru.”

How much are snacks?

Summer Movie Express moviegoers can enjoy discounted snack packs for $5. The deal includes a junior-sized drink, a snack-sized popcorn and fruit snacks.

Dippin’ Dots are an extra $3, according to the movie website.
