The 22-year-old’s celeb chef dad is well known for the likes of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip and Kitchen Nightmares. And now she is set to host a new programme named Dish It Out.
Tilly is the fourth oldest of Gordon and wife Tana’s six children – they also share daughter Megan, 25, twins Holly and Jack, 24, son Oscar, four, and baby Jesse James, who was born last year. But so far, she’s the one making the loudest splash on the showbiz world.
We have a look at her new series and the other things she’s been up to.
Dish it Out
According to Deadline, Dish It Out will see Tilly cooking food from around the world. The format will be that in each episode she will get a mystery box from chefs and home cooks.
It will contain a mix of goods, then in each instalment she will cook up a recipe.
Lauren Anderson, of Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement. "Tilly's charm, exuberance, and ability to create memorable food experiences has already delighted her millions of followers, and we look forward to introducing her to a new audience of food, cooking, and lifestyle enthusiasts."
Tilly – whose name is Matilda – got started at an early age with appearances on some of her dad’s TV programmes. Then in 2015 it was announced that she would host her own CBBC cooking show called Matilda And The Ramsay Bunch.
Aimed at a younger audience, the show followed Tilly as she whipped up a variety of dishes while the Ramsays were on a family holiday together. It did well, running until 2019 and airing five series.
Over the course of the series several famous guests were featured, including James Corden, Tom Daley and Cruz Beckham, whose parents David and Victoria are good friends with the Ramsays.
Social media influencer
Tilly has also become something of a social media sensation, building up a following of over a million people on Instagram. She uses the platform to give fans a peek at her life with her famous family, but she also regularly showcases her culinary skills.
In recent months she has showed off her cooking talent by making delicious-looking meals such as carbonara, cheesy mushroom quesadillas and a no-bake raspberry and ginger cheesecake.
Strictly Come Dancing
In 2021, Tilly swapped the kitchen for the dancefloor by signing up for Strictly Come Dancing. She was paired with pro Nikita Kuzmin for the BBC ballroom contest and lasted for weeks, becoming the ninth star to be eliminated.
During her time on the show she earned praise for the way she handled herself when radio presenter Steve Allen commented on her appearance, calling her “a chubby little thing”.
Hitting back at Allen – who later apologised - Tilly wrote on Instagram: "I try not to read and listen to comments about negativity however recently being called out on a national radio station by a 67-year-old man is a step too far.
"Steve – please feel free [to] voice your opinions, however I draw the line at commenting on my appearance.”
The star said she understood that there were repercussions to being in the public eye. “However, I won't tolerate people who think it's okay to publicly comment and scrutinise anyone's weight and appearance,” she said.
