Tim McGraw Praises Daughter Audrey’s Cover of 'Stand by Your Man': 'She's a True Artist'
"She is so talented," McGraw raved about his 22-year-old daughter, whom he shares with wife Faith Hill
Tim McGraw is one proud father.
On Thursday, the Grammy Award-winning singer, 56, heaped praise on his youngest daughter Audrey, 22, as she covered Tammy Wynette’s 1968 track “Stand by Your Man.”
McGraw’s pride was shared in an Instagram video posted Thursday with the caption, “We love it when @audreymcgraw comes home and sits at the piano…. She’s a true artist and we love the things she’s writing too! #prouddad.”
The video featured two clips split across the screen, one of Audrey singing and playing the piano, while the other showed McGraw proudly listening. As the clip of Audrey’s performance finished, the video then switched to a full-screen of McGraw commenting on his daughter’s talents.
“Whew! Our baby girl Audrey. Gosh, she is so talented man,” McGraw began. “I’ve said it 100 times, all of our girls are so talented, they all sing great. Audrey is just so special, she is such an incredible writer as well."

"I mean we get to hear this whenever she’s home, she’ll sit on the piano and we can hear this all through the house and we can hear the stuff that’s writing and I’m telling you, her voice and the things that she writes are just so mind-blowing and so deep and so special.”
Adding that his daughter is a “true artist” with a “true artist's soul” the country star continued to the camera, “Faith and I will just sit there and listen. She doesn’t know we’re listening half the time, sometimes we have to sneak around and watch her so she doesn’t see us because she’ll stop sometimes.”
McGraw then appeared to get emotional as he concluded the clip, “My goodness, I am proud. I mean, gosh, these girls! Whew.”
