Here are the top high school football performers across week 3 in South Mississippi

The third week of high school football on the Coast is in the books and athletes across the region turned in another Friday night of big outings.

These were the top performers from the opening week games.

  • Benny Williams, Bay High: Williams ran for 227 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries in the Tigers’ 60-41 win over Long Beach. Williams also had seven tackles, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble return for touchdown.

  • Avery Harris, Bay High: Harris registered 10 tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack, a fumble returned for touchdown and an interception. Also caught a 32-yard pass.

  • Jalen Anderson, Biloxi: Anderson had a receiving touchdown, two fumble recoveries, a fumble returned for touchdown, an interception returned for touchdown and a blocked punt in the Indians’ 34-14 win over George County.

  • Zach Marlin, Biloxi: Marlin had passing touchdowns of 54 yards and 45 yards in the Indians win.

  • Ben Myrick, East Central: Myrick ran for 158 yards and a touchdown in the 42-35 win over Lawrence County.

  • Grey Bradley, East Central: Bradley rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns for the Hornets.

  • Kelvin Beavers, Gautier: Beavers threw two touchdown passes for the Gators in the loss to Pascagoula.

  • Dylan Moran, Hancock: Moran completed 12 passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns in the Hawks 42-7 win over St. Martin.

  • Zach Gullung, Hancock: Gullung rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns for the Hawks.

  • Tri Gaughf, Harrison Central: Gaughf completed 18 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown in the Red Rebels’ 14-13 win over Quitman.

  • Tyree Barnett, Harrison Central: Barnett caught nine passes for 81 yards.

  • Boone Wilson, Harrison Central: Wilson picked up 8 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble.

  • Kieron Jones, Harrison Central: Jones recorded five total tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception.

  • Taboris Charles, Moss Point: Charles scored two rushing touchdowns in the Tigers’ 22-20 win over St. Stanislaus.

  • Will Berglind, Ocean Springs: The Greyhound quarterback threw three touchdowns in the 27-24 win over Northwest Rankin.

  • Cam Deflanders, Pascagoula: Deflanders had two rushing touchdowns in the Panthers’ 28-27 win over Gautier.

  • Tylan Wilson, Pascagoula: Wilson intercepted two passes against the Gators.

  • Ladd Scriber, Pass Christian: Scriber completed 10 passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns in the 42-0 win over Pearl River Central.

  • Jacquez Alexander-Dedeaux, Pass Christian: Alexander-Dedeaux ran for 120 yards and a touchdown.

  • Terry Patton, Pass Christian: Patton caught six passes for 77 yards and a score.

  • Niquis Ratcliff, Picayune: Ratcliff had two rushing touchdowns in Picayune’s 42-7 win over D’Iberville.

  • Aden Dedeaux, Poplarville: Dedeaux recorded a sack, forced fumble and two pass breakups in the 16-0 win over Newton County.

  • Ian Gonzalez Rioz, St. Stanislaus: Gonzalez Rioz ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns, threw for 129 yards and had a 79-yard kick return in the loss to Moss Point.

  • Chesley Rhodes, St. Stanislaus: Rhodes recorded 13 tackles for the Rock-a-Chaws.

  • River Brown, Vancleave: Brown recorded 16 tackles for the Bulldogs in an 18-6 loss to Forrest County AHS.

  • Jordan Stapleton, West Harrison: Stapleton ran for 172 yards and a touchdown in the 28-12 win over East Marion.

  • Trey Harris, West Harrison: Harris rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
