Top high school wrestlers honored on the 2023 Wichita Eagle wrestling All-Metro teams

The Wichita Eagle announced its All-Metro boys and girls wrestling teams on Thursday, recognizing some of the best high school wrestlers in the state of Kansas from the 2022-23 season.

The All-Metro team features the top wrestlers and the top coach from Sedgwick, Butler and Harvey counties based on win-loss records, state success and Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association rankings. Newton senior Nick Treaster was named the Wrestler of the Year after joining his father in the four-time state champion club in the state of Kansas this season.
