‘The Traitors’ Is Renewed for a Third Season
“The Traitors” is continuing for a third season.
While Season 2 of the hit Peacock reality competition series is going viral, IndieWire can confirm that a third season is underway. “The Traitors” made history as Peacock’s most watched unscripted original of all time. The first season recently won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program at the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Hosted by Alan Cumming, “The Traitors” follows the deceit and treachery of a celeb-fueled competition set in the Scottish Highlands. Season 2 is currently airing Thursdays nights at 6 p.m. ET/PT on Peacock, with Season 1 available to stream in full exclusively on the platform.

“The Traitors” is the ultimate reality show competition with alums from beloved franchises facing off in a murder mystery game to win up to $250,000.
The game goes as follows: “Hidden amongst the Faithful are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor or Traitors makes it to the end, they will steal all the money.”
Reality TV mega-producer Stephen Lambert of Studio Lambert executive produces the series along with Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Tim Harcourt, and Jack Burgess. Host Cumming also produces.
