Travis Kelce Lands in Australia to Support Taylor Swift at Her Eras Tour Concerts This Weekend
Kelce is fresh off of winning his third Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, and sources tell PEOPLE he's "excited" to travel to see Swift this offseason
Travis Kelce has landed in Sydney ahead of Taylor Swift’s next Eras Tour performances this weekend.
Kelce, 34, is officially on the ground in the Emerald City according to local 9News and Channel 7's The Morning Show, which both captured photos of the NFL star getting off a private plane.
The tight end flew to Australia following a trip this week to Las Vegas to play golf after he and the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl there earlier this month. Swift, also 34, will perform four concerts at the Accor Stadium in Sydney from Feb. 23 through Feb. 26 before heading to Singapore for the next stop of her tour on March 2.
Kelce is looking forward to jetting around the world to support Swift this summer, a source recently told PEOPLE. The NFL star plans to support Swift during the offseason come after the “Love Story” singer showed up for 13 of his games this season with the Chiefs, and cheered as he and the team went on to win their third Super Bowl title in five years.
The insider told PEOPLE Kelce and Swift “are making plans for the summer and are excited to travel together in Europe when Taylor takes her tour there."
“Football is everything to him. He lives and breathes it. But he’s ready for some downtime now and to show up for Taylor the way she has for him,” another source close to the Kelce family said.
Swift is scheduled to kick off the European leg of her Eras Tour performances on May 9 in Paris and will play shows throughout the continent until late August, around the time the next NFL season begins again.
Kelce has already made efforts to support Swift in recent months, despite his busy NFL schedule. The nine-time NFL Pro Bowler flew to Argentina see her perform last November during the Chiefs’ only bye week of their six-month season. It was there that Kelce and Swift were first spotted sharing a kiss when the pop star ran into his arms backstage moments after her show ended.
The couple’s highly publicized romance began sometime late last summer, Swift previously revealed. Kelce initially caught Swift’s attention after he joked on his New Heights podcast that he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at her show in Kansas City last July, but failed to do so.
“We started hanging out right after that,” Swift told Time magazine last year. “So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”

Soon after, Swift began attending Kelce’s games and became a focal point during NFL broadcasts while she cheered him on alongside his family and friends in the team’s luxury box.
The season ended in fairytale fashion for Swift and Kelce earlier this month, as they celebrated Kansas City’s Super Bowl victory on the field together before staying out celebrating in Las Vegas until 5 a.m. the next morning.
"It was the most thrilling experience,” an insider told PEOPLE about Swift and Kelce’s night, adding that “it’s been the best few months for them.”
