Trump Adviser Says Kash Patel Will Take ‘Democrats to Pound Town’
A Trump adviser said the president-elect’s pick for the FBI will take Democrats on an interesting trip if they question his controversial far-right conspiracy theories.
Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Donald Trump, jumped to defend FBI chief nominee Kash Patel in a tweet calling out The New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush.
Thrush said that Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi appeared to distance herself from Patel during her confirmation hearing on Wednesday after she was grilled about his wild conspiracy theories. Bondi would become Patel’s boss if they are both confirmed.
“A bit of a jaw dropper,” Thrush wrote on X.
A bit of a jaw dropper. Bondi distanced herself from Kash Patel, who she had previously defended.
Asked about F.B.I. nominee's position on the conspiratorial QAnon group, she said, "I look forward to hearing his testimony about QAnon in front of this committee."— Glenn Thrush (@GlennThrush) January 15, 2025
At the confirmation hearing Wednesday, Illinois Senator Dick Durbin highlighted Patel’s praise of QAnon theories, including a core belief which claims that a group of Satan-worshipping liberal pedophiles have a secret plot to take over the world and destroy Trump.
“Does that sound like a good preparation to run the FBI?” Durbin asked Bondi.
“You’re going to have to ask Mr. Patel about those statements,” Bondi said. “I look forward to hearing his testimony about QAnon in front of this committee.”

For Miller, Bondi wasn’t exactly distancing herself from the FBI nominee.
“This is taken out of context, Glenn,” he told the journalist. “We all look forward to Kash Patel taking these idiotic Democrats to Pound Town if/when they decide to waste their time asking him about hypothetical conspiracy theories in his hearing.”
“Pound town,” as it’s understood by many and as it’s defined by Urban Dictionary, refers to “the act of sexual intercourse often containing quick, powerful thrust from the male.”

Social media users were quick to catch on Miller’s apparent misinterpretation. “Not sure ‘pound town’ was the phrase you were looking for here,” one user added.
Bondi defended Patel at her confirmation hearing, even after Senators expressed concern at his threats to come after those on his self-compiled “enemies list,” made up of people who he believes are members of the “Deep State.”
“I know that Kash Patel has had 60 jury trials as a public defender, as a prosecutor,” Bondi said. “He has great experience in the Intel Department, Department of Defense. I have known Kash and I believe that Kash is the right person at this time for this job.”
