Westbound Gardiner lanes closed overnight Friday

Three westbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway between the South Kingsway and Park Lawn Road will close overnight between midnight and 7 a.m., with other sections of the roadway experiencing temporary shutdowns as well.

On and off-ramps will also be closed at Bookers Lane throughout the night.

For a detailed list of the closures, check the City of Toronto's Twitter page.

Meanwhile, the TTC warns there will be no subway service between St. Andrew and Union stations this weekend for ongoing Union station platform upgrades.

Transit riders can use the Yonge line to travel to Union station or use the University line to travel to St. Andrew station.

The 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcar routes also connect the stations.

Regular service will resume Monday at 6 a.m.

The TTC says additional weekend closures between St. Andrew and Union stations will be required ahead of the Pan Am Games.
