Two dead, another injured in van-motorcycle crash in northern Wake County
A crash in northern Wake County involving a motorcycle and van late Friday afternoon left two people dead and a third injured, the State Highway Patrol told ABC11, The News & Observer’s news partner .
The patrol reported the crash happened at Old Weaver Trail and Old Fellowship Road shortly before 5 p.m. when a van made a left turn and collided with the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger died, ABC11 reported, and the driver of the van was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The patrol said charges are pending against the driver of the van, ABC11 reported.
