Two injured in separate overnight shootings in Dallas, police say
Two people were injured in unrelated shootings in Dallas early Saturday, police said.
Officers responded to the 3600 block of Havana Street in south Dallas shortly after midnight regarding a shooting call. The found a man who had been shot in the shoulder, officials said. A preliminary investigation showed the victim had been arguing with two unknown suspects who shot him and left the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing, officials said.
Officers responded to the 3400 block of Toronto Street in west Dallas around 1:45 a.m. regarding another shooting, police said. A male victim had been shot in the leg by an unknown suspect in a vehicle.
