Unlikely friendships: World's fastest and slowest animals are inseparable duo

Visitors attending Carson Springs Wildlife Conservation in Florida are in for a surprise as they come across what may be one of the unlikeliest of friendships between a tortoise named Penzie and a cheetah named Tuesday.

Penzie, a long-time resident at the wildlife conservation centre enjoyed her own space until Tuesday was born at the centre in 2018, and park facilitator Christine Janks thought it would make a great visual for guests to have them share a space as the two species are known to typically ignore each other.

"They sleep together, and generally, they are inseparable," Janks said.
