Vanessa Hudgens marries professional baseball player Cole Tucker after 3 years together
The couple started dating in 2020.
Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker have officially tied the knot.
The High School Musical alum and professional baseball player, who have been together since 2020, were spotted in Tulum, Mexico this weekend with Hudgens snapping beach photos in a white dress. Photos shared across social media sparked immediate speculation and now PEOPLE has confirmed that the couple said “I do” on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Representatives for Hudgens did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
Hudgens and Tucker originally ignited dating rumors in November of 2020, when they were spotted getting cozy in a Los Angeles restaurant. Confirmation of their relationship came several months later, when Hudgens celebrated Valentine's Day with a photo of the couple sharing a kiss. "It's you, it's me, it's us,” she captioned the post.
Since then, the duo have not been shy about sharing sweet moments on social media, or even walking the red carpet together. Nearly three years into their relationship, Tucker popped the question in Paris, with the romantic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. They announced the news in a joint Instagram post, showing off a photo of the engagement ring.
"YES,” the caption read. “We couldn't be happier."
Earlier this year Hudgens opened up about the stress of wedding planning, admitting that while she loved being a fiancee, she wouldn't mind eloping.
"It's hard. I don't know, finding a venue is tough," she said during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. "I kind of just want to elope. I really, I'm lost."
As for Tucker’s feelings on the subject, Hudgens explained, “He just wants to get married to me. He's like, 'Whatever you want babe.'”
