Video shows first time Taylor Swift walked into Arrowhead to see Travis Kelce, Chiefs

Taylor Swift shocked the world last September when she walked into GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for her first Chiefs game with no fanfare, no attention, until TV cameras showed her in a suite.

“Taylor Swift Strolled Into Chiefs Game Unnoticed!!!” gossip website TMZ cried out in a headline, all but whining that it missed the big moment.

TMZ did manage to score a picture of Swift, taken from behind, in shorts and a Chiefs windbreaker as she walked in for the Chiefs-Bears game on Sept. 24.

“The amazing part is … we’re told there were no fans screaming for Tay Tay as she walked into the stadium, and made her way to the suite,” TMZ wrote.

“You gotta hand it to Taylor and Travis for pulling off the perfect sneak attack. No one knew she was going to the game — we got wind of it just 20 minutes before kickoff — and, as a result, the Swiftie army was NOT lined up to see her arrival.

“Kinda shocking they weren’t on the lookout, considering Travis made it known he had invited her to a game.”

Now we know what that quiet arrival looked like.

TikTok user Spencer Carter has shared a video from that day that shows Swift walking in with a group of about 20 people, including friends of Kelce and her always-present bodyguard, who that day wore Chiefs gear to blend in.

Swift wore a brown ball cap and what appeared in the video to be a COVID mask hiding her face. It did its job well.

The group looked like any other gaggle of fans, except for a Kansas City Police Department officer, a Jackson County sheriff’s deputy and stadium security folks close by.

“When you realize you spotted Taylor Swift walk into her first Chiefs game!!!!” Carter captioned the video.

No one appeared to notice Swift, walking in the middle of the group, except for the two women having a meltdown as they filmed the moment.

“With the brown hat on,” the first woman points out. “With the mask on. Oh my God.”

“I don’t know where you’re looking,” the second woman says.

“She’s right there with the brown hat on,” the first woman insists.

Then she comments how Swift’s security people “tried to disguise themselves.”

Kelce recently gave his version of that day in an appearance on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast.

“The first game she came to against the Bears, I was like … I could probably set you up with everything,” Kelce said. “And she just walked right through the front door.

“There’s no, like, going down, talking to security that she gets to her. … She was just like, ‘I just want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.’

“I was just like, she got beaucoup points for that. I was like damn, she’s just in the madness, man. She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me and do things like that. I was like, man, she really won me over with that.”

She might have flown under the radar walking in, but Swift and Kelce went viral when they drove away from Arrowhead after the game in one of Kelce’s classic cars, “looking like Danny and Sandy from ‘Grease’ … but they definitely pulled off a ‘Mission: Impossible’ getting her in on the DL,” TMZ wrote.
