The third week of the high school football season is in the books in South Carolina.

It’s time to vote for The State’s high school football Player of the Week from Midlands-area high schools and games played Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

The nominees are listed below. Voting ends Friday at noon. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page.

Jaden Allen-Hendrix, RB, Irmo: Senior carried ball 23 times for 218 yards in 42-0 win over River Bluff.

Evan Artemus, RB, Keenan: Senior carried it 26 times for 301 yards and 3 TDs in 44-43 loss to Richland Northeast.

Drake Braddock, QB, Gilbert: Senior was 15-of-21 for 321 yards, 5 TDs and no interceptions in 49-35 win over South Aiken.

KenMane Brunson, RB, Saluda: Senior carried ball 20 times for 187 yards and 3 TDs in 25-0 win over Ninety-Six.

Maddox Floyd, WR, Chapin: Senior caught 7 passes for 63 yards, 2 TDs in 38-7 win over Spring Valley.

Jaiden Kimble, LB, White Knoll: Senior had 8 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack in 42-15 win over Colleton County.

Troy Neil, LB, Airport: Senior had 12 tackles, 1 sack, a fumble recovery and 2 quarterback hurries in a 10-2 win over Lamar.

Luke New, QB/S, Pelion: Senior was 11-of-15 passing for 165 yards, 2 TDs, ran for a TD. On defense, he had 9 tackles, picked off 2 passes and forced a fumble in a 35-28 win over Eau Claire.

Caleb Pearson, QB/DB, CA Johnson: Senior carried it 28 times for 278 yards, 2 TDs on offense. Defensively, he had 6 tackles and a sack in a 24-20 win over North Central.

Drew Spires, WR, Richard Winn: Senior caught 11 passes for 242 yards, 5 TDs and had a 93-yard punt return for TD in 57-34 win over Wardlaw.

Kaine Williams, LB, Gray Collegiate: Senior has 11 tackles, fumble recovery and returned an interception 77 yards for TD in 52-14 win over Hammond.

Will Wilson, QB, Richland Northeast: Junior carried it 16 times for 279 yards, 5 TDs, threw for 69 yards and TD in 44-43 win over Keenan.
