You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

Dillon Fine, Homedale: Went 14-for-18 for 334 yards and five TDs, and ran for another score in his starting debut at quarterback in a 54-7 win vs. Filer.

Isaac Brennan, Emmett: After the Huskies’ starting quarterback went down with an injury in practice, he stepped in and ran for a school-record 315 yards and two touchdowns in a come-from-behind, 33-30 win at Blackfoot.

Derrik Walker, New Plymouth: Accounted for 216 all-purpose yards and three TDs in a 40-14 win against New Plymouth. He had three catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns, and returned a kickoff 80 yards for another score.

Matt Irwin, Owyhee: Racked up five total touchdowns, four passing and one rushing, in the Storm’s 38-8 win over Centennial.

Justin McGee, Mountain View: Went 10-for-13 for 101 yards and two TDs, and ran for 107 yards and the game-winning score in a 31-26 upset of No. 3-ranked Meridian.

Tacoma Kelly, Garden Valley: Finished with six touchdowns in a 37-14 upset win over No. 2 Dietrich. He threw for 204 yards and four TDs, ran for 165 yards and a TD, and he caught a touchdown.

Cash Cahill, Cole Valley Christian: Went 16-for-21 for 301 yards and four TDs in a 62-6 win at Parma. He also ran for a touchdown.

Alex Hess, Boise: Ran for 189 yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries in a 42-0 rout of Ridgevue.

Pete Minnaert, Bishop Kelly: Racked up 199 all-purpose yards and three TDs in a 49-14 win over Capital. He only needed two carries for 101 yards and two TDs. He also returned a kickoff 98 yards to the end zone.

Jayden Walker, Weiser: Only needed eight carries to run for 108 yards and three TDs in a 42-21 win against Buhl.

Rylan Frank, Melba: Finished with 246 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in a 38-22 win at St. Maries. He ran for 72 yards and two TDs, added 132 receiving yards and one TD, and he threw for 42 yards and a score.

Kaelun Jones, Horseshoe Bend: Ran for 302 yards and five touchdowns in a 46-34 loss to Hagerman.
