Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

SOFTBALL

Brylin Field, Kuna: Went a combined 7-for-12 with five home runs and 11 RBIs in three games to lead the Kavemen to the 5A District Three Tournament title.

Lola Crosby, Cole Valley Christian: Led the Chargers to their first 2A District Three Tournament title by going 4-for-8 with two doubles, a triple and eight RBIs in two games. She also retired all five batters she faced to close out the district finals.

Leticia Wilson, Vision Charter: Hit a two-run, walk-off single to clinch the Golden Eagles a state tournament berth with an 13-11 win over Greenleaf in the 1A District Three Tournament semifinals.

Megan Meracle, Borah: Struck out 31 while holding opponents to three runs on nine hits through 14 innings to lead the Lions to a pair of wins and a 5A state tournament berth.

McKenna Schab, Owyhee: Hit three home runs and drove in five runs to lead the Storm to a 10-9 win over Eagle to clinch a state tournament berth.

Hailee Stephenson, Emmett: Went 4-for-7 with a double, a home run and six RBIs in two district tournament games to lead the Huskies to their first district title since 2004.

Dani Sitts, Homedale: Struck out 11 and held Weiser to three runs on three hits in a 6-3 victory in the 3A District Three Tournament championship game. She also went 4-for-7 with two doubles and two RBIs in two games.

Hayleigh Oliver, Eagle: Went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBIs to lead the Mustangs to a 12-10 win over Lewiston in a 5A state play-in game.

McKenna Chavez, Capital: Went a combined 6-for-10 with a double, a home run and eight RBIs in three games to lead the Eagles to a second-place finish at the 5A District Three Tournament and a state tournament berth.

Analisa Zamora, Skyview: Went 5-for-7 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs in four games to lead the Hawks to a 4A state tournament berth.
