You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS WRESTLING

Jason Mara, Meridian: Pinned all four opponents he faced in the 152-pound division at the 5A District Three Tournament for his fourth straight district title, leading the Warriors to the team crown, too.

Shilo Jones, Mountain View: Only one match reached the second round as he racked up four pins in a row for the heavyweight championship at the 5A District Three Tournament.

Ryan Hirchert, Nampa: Rode four first-round pins to the 98-pound title at the 5A District Three Tournament.

Jacob Blandford, Middleton: Pinned three straight to reach the 160-pound finals at the 5A District Three Tournament, then captured his second title with a 9-5 decision.

Matthew Martino, Bishop Kelly: Ran away with his third straight district championship, pinning all four opponents he faced in the 152-pound bracket at the 4A District Three Tournament and leading the Knights to back-to-back team titles.

Dawson Conklin, Emmett: Racked up four first-round pins for the 182-pound crown at the 4A District Three Tournament.

Jake Farar, Ridgevue: Scored four straight pins to finish first in the 220-pound bracket at the 4A District Three Tournament.

Jacob Andrae, Vallivue: Rode three pins and a major decision to the 195-pound championship at the 4A District Three Tournament.

Kaden MacKenzie, Fruitland: Posted three first-round pins and a 15-0 tech fall in the 152-pound finals to win his third straight 3A District Three Tournament title. He also led the Grizzlies to the team title.

Kash Cobb, Weiser: Scored three first-round pins and then a 7-0 decision in the finals for the 182-pound title at the 3A District Three Tournament.

Trevor Rhoades, Melba: Captured his third straight 2A District Three championship, finishing atop the podium at 195 pounds by scoring two first-round pins.

Nathan Willoughby, New Plymouth: Racked up two first-round pins for his third straight heavyweight crown at the 2A District Three Tournament. The victory helped lead the Pilgrims to the team title, too.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Ava Bui, Centennial: Earned the 100-pound championship at the District Three Tournament with a tech fall and two decisions.

Nia Avelino, Caldwell: Pinned two opponents and then collected a 5-1 decision in the 107-pound title match at the District Three Tournament.

Talea Nichols, Rocky Mountain: Pinned her first two opponents in less than a minute, earned a major decision in the semifinals and won 10-3 in the 114-pound championship at the District Three Tournament.

Audrey Deleon, Weiser: Racked up four pins on her way to the 120-pound title at the District Three Tournament.

Caddy Tverdy, Garden Valley: Won by pin in all four rounds to collect the 126-pound championship at the District Three Tournament.

Kiana Dullanty, Fruitland: Pinned her first three opponents and won by a 5-3 decision in the title match at 132 pounds at the District Three Tournament.

Zoe Fries, Kuna: Earned two pins and a tech fall as she finished first at 138 pounds at the District Three Tournament.

Clare Waite, Boise: Pinned her first three opponents and won by 8-0 major decision in the championship match at 145 pounds at the District Three Tournament.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Earned three pins and a tech fall to win the 152-pound championship at the District Three Tournament.

Kyra Richards, Nampa: Racked up four pins on her way to claiming the 165-pound title at the District Three Tournament.

Jordynn LeBeau, Eagle: Pinned both her opponents in 40 seconds or less, collecting the 185-pound championship at the District Three Tournament.

Cosette Desrosiers, Columbia: Bested both her opponents by pin to win the 235-pound championship at the District Three Tournament.
