Wait, what?! Bibb County deputies arrive at a home to find a dead body inside chimney
Someone in South Macon got quite a surprise when they discovered a dead man inside their chimney.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in the 1000 block of Courtland Ave., just after 9 p.m Friday night. There deputies were informed that the body of an unidentified man was discovered inside of the chimney of the home.
Bibb County Fire Department was called to assist in removing the deceased male from the chimney. The body was sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and identity.
The name of the homeowner or exact location where this occurred were not released. The home is located near Mercer Village.
The person, presumably, died while trying to enter the home and got stuck. No further information was immediately available.
