Want Hurricanes tickets for the Eastern Conference final at PNC Arena? Be ready to pay up

Less than 24 hours after the Carolina Hurricanes clinched a spot in the NHL’s Eastern Conference final, tickets are on sale for the next round — even though dates for those games have yet to be announced.

The team the Canes will play against in the third round of the playoffs also has to be determined. The Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs play game 5 of their-second-round series Friday night.

But the Canes will have home-ice advantage, and therefore knows the team knows it will start the series at PNC Arena in Raleigh.

Games 1 and 2, and then 5 and 7, if necessary, will be held at home. Games 3, 4 and, if necessary 6, are on the road.

And while tickets are still available, depending on when you want to go, and where you want to sit, they are getting few and far between, as of Friday afternoon.

Only single seats remain available at face value in the lower bowl of the arena for Game 1 of the next round, according to Ticketmaster, the venue’s ticketing partner. The lowest listed price for a lower-bowl seat is $250 plus fees.

There are a few more options for multiple seats together in the upper level of PNC Arena, with the least expensive of those ringing up at $125 plus fees. The club level seats list at $400 plus fees.

There are more $125 options for Games 2, 5 and 7 on the upper level, but the lower level is again down to single seats in a smattering of locations through the next round.

Some fans are posting their tickets for resale via Ticketmaster for as much as $1,200 per seat.
