Watch: Escaped zoo monkey spotted in Scotland
Jan. 31 (UPI) -- A monkey on the run from Scotland's Highland Wildlife Park was caught on camera by a drone searching near the zoo.
The Japanese macaque, also known as a snow monkey, was spotted by conservation consultant Ben Harrower while he was using a drone to search for the missing animal.
Harrower's video recorded the monkey on the ground beneath some dense trees.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, which operates the zoo, said the monkey gave rescuers the slip before they could recapture him.
