Water main break closes three southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh
A water main break has closed three southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard just north of Crabtree Boulevard in Raleigh.
The city expects repairs to take until 4 p.m. Saturday. It is urging motorists to avoid the area, or, if you are in the area, to pay attention to traffic cones and signs and keep an eye out for work crews.
Water customers in the area are not expected to lose service, the city said in a press release. If that changes, Raleigh Water will notify affected customers by phone, visit and/or door hanger.
