It appears our recent TV Question has been heeded: The Way Home is coming back home to Hallmark Channel.
Season 3 of the hit fantasy drama will air on the cable channel in January after all, with the network reversing its plan to debut the season on streamer Hallmark+, according to our sister site Variety. “After hearing from the many passionate, loyal fans,” Hallmark said in a statement, Season 3 will now premiere on Hallmark Channel on Friday, Jan. 3 at 9/8c, with episodes streaming the next day on Hallmark+.

The Way Home Season 3 to Premiere on Hallmark+ Streaming Service - When Will It Air on Cable?
Last month, Hallmark announced that it would move Season 3 to its streaming service Hallmark+, starting in January, with episodes not airing on Hallmark Channel until the fall. Fans were angered at the prospect of having to pay for yet another streaming service, though, and their strong opposition to the move apparently led to Hallmark deciding to change course.
The Way Home stars Sadie Laflamme-Snow as Alice, a teen girl who discovers she can travel through time and encounters younger versions of her mother and grandmother. Grey’s Anatomy alum Chyler Leigh co-stars as Alice’s mother Kat, with Andie MacDowell as Alice’s grandmother Del. Hallmark renewed it for a third season back in March.
