West End drug dealer on wanted list is sentenced to 40 months in jail
A drug dealer who brazenly sold illicit substances in heart of the West End has been jailed for 40 months.
Massihullah Mohmand, 24, was named by Met detectives in a top-10 list of the most wanted suppliers in Soho in January.
An undercover operation had identified him as one of those helping to flood the area with class A drugs.
Mohmand, of Ealing, was caught selling crack cocaine and heroin on four occasions last year, Southwark crown court heard at his sentencing yesterday.
At a hearing in July he admitted three counts of being concerned in the supply of a class A drugs and three of supplying a controlled drug.
Police cracked down after street deals were caught on camera and drug offences rose almost 40 per cent in the area.
In November the Standard revealed footage of a suspect on a bike passing wraps taken from his mouth to a customer at 1.45pm.
The Met made 26 arrests in raids in December and January.
