What's that, you say? I'm under arrest?

A young man who didn't listen to police the first time they responded to a noise complaint found himself under arrest on their second visit.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook received complaints on Sunday night about loud music coming from a house in the Humbermouth area of the city.

Officers paid a visit to the house on Dingwell's Lane, where a young man agreed to turn the volume down.

But when police left, more complaints came in.

On the second visit, the RNC arrested the 19-year-old.

The RNC said he faces a charge of mischief, on grounds that he prevented "his neighbours with the lawful use and enjoyment of their property."

In a statement, police said there had been similar complaints involving the house in the past.
