Another Wheel of Fortune fumble has shocked the internet.

On the April 30 episode of the long-running game show, contestant Kimberly Wright from Apopka, Florida, flubbed a guess that cost her $7,250.

During the express round, when the puzzle board read “D U _ _ - _ _ L L E D PLATYPUS,” Wright sought to add another letter rather than solve.

Despite the easy solution, which was meant to be “duck-billed platypus,” Wright asked host Pat Sajak for an “F.” Competitor Marie Kioski solved the puzzle instead, collecting the prize money and a trip to Margaritaville Vacation Club Rio Mar in Puerto Rico.

Wheel of Fortune watchers reacted swiftly on social media, shocked at Wright’s miss. One X (formerly Twitter) user called her “reverse autocorrect.”

“i have never been more enraged watching wheel of fortune,” another added in a quote of the clip.

A third viewer summed up their thoughts on the mistake by calling the show “just depressing sometimes.”

"Oh my, that was painful. F??" an exasperated X user wrote.

The program’s fans have historically expressed their emotions at contestants’ easy blunders. In March, a contestant lost out on two chances at claiming a $1 million bonus. Tara Brown of Hopkins, South Carolina, guessed an “H” when the board read “BULB, BEA_ _ N, SUN, STARS” for the category “Let There Be Light!”

In addition to the surprised crowd, social media users sound off on X. “Who screens these people?” a user questioned.

Sajak, 76, has seen plenty of similar errors throughout his four decades as host. However, the current 41st season will be his last. The longtime TV presenter is set to retire on June 7 with a season finale aptly titled “Thanks for the Memories,” per Rotten Tomatoes.

“It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)" Sajak wrote in an announcement on X.
