Where can I get Chiefs’ AFC Championship merch if they win? These stores will be open
Just like last year, sporting goods stores around the Kansas City area are preparing to open immediately Sunday if the Chiefs win another AFC Championship Game.
Rally House will be one of those stores. Locations around Kansas City have the team’s title merchandise — including shirts and hats — in boxes, ready to open if the Chiefs beat the Ravens.
The sporting goods chain is opening 13 locations around the metro immediately after the game if the Chiefs advance to a second-straight Super Bowl.
“With a Chiefs win this Sunday, we will reopen locations receiving preprints following the game and remain open until preprints are sold out or fans no longer are coming in,” Colin Novick, media and production manager with Rally House, said.
DICK’s Sporting Goods said its six Kansas City area stores will open if the Chiefs win, and Academy Sports + Outdoors will open its four stores following a victory.
All stores will receive preprints, the merchandise that is prepared to hand to the winning team immediately on the field to wear after they win.

What happens to the Chiefs’ merch if they lose?
Rally House partners with Fanatics, the merchandise distributor of the NFL, who work with Good360, a global nonprofit that helps distribute items to people in need.
Romaine Seguin, the chief executive officer of Good360, said they repurpose the losing team’s gear and work with the NFL on donating it to countries outside of North America, like Ukraine, Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia and Latvia.
Once the game is over, Seguin and her team immediately start their work with the NFL to figure out where they want to distribute their clothing.
“Whatever team doesn’t make it, the merchandise is going to go into great hands of need,” Seguin said.
