White House press briefing: Watch live

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will deliver a daily press briefing Monday afternoon.

The White House spent much of the end of last week responding to special counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Biden’s handling of official documents. Although Hur did not recommend charges, several comments included in the report about the president’s memory and ability to recall details have raised concerns about his age.

Biden is appearing at multiple events Monday, speaking to a conference of county officials from around the U.S. late in the morning followed by a White House meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan in the afternoon.

The White House briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EST.
