Why Sofía Vergara Said 'That's It!' and Walked Off 'America's Got Talent'
Howie Mandel has been playfully needling his fellow judge — who is newly single since her estranged husband Joe Manganiello filed for divorce — for weeks during this season's live shows
Sofía Vergara has had enough!
On Wednesday's results episode of America's Got Talent, Vergara walked off stage after her fellow judge Howie Mandel cracked a joke about her newly single status, following her divorce from estranged husband, Joe Manganiello.
The ill-timed joke came when Vergara, 51, took a lie detector test — while sitting on a throne made of tater tots in honor of the show's sponsor Sonic — at the request of fellow judge Simon Cowell.
When Mandel, 67, playfully asked if there was anyone in the audience she was "interested in," she put her foot down.
"That's it!" she declared, storming off the stage and returning to her seat at the judges' table with a laugh.
This is far from the first time Mandel has poked fun at his fellow judge's love life lately.
In the first AGT season 18 live show, he joked, "If you're looking for eligible bachelors, you should've talked to Sofía because she's in the market right now."
After receiving some backlash, the judge later clarified that he was not actually trying to set her up and emphasized that she "doesn't need my help."
"I think everybody watching who is available believes they’re the perfect match for Sofía," he explained to Extra at the time. "I don’t think, Sofía, to be honest… she doesn’t need my help. She really doesn't."
Mandel has continued to poke fun at Vergara in the weeks since. Most recently, he asked his fellow judge on Tuesday night,
"You love relationship comedy, don't you? Too soon?" after comedian Orlando Leyba's performance featuring tales from his married life.

In July, Vergara and Manganiello, 46, announced their "difficult" decision to split in a joint statement. They were married for seven years, having tied the knot in Nov. 2015.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” they said in a statement to Page Six. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
The news came just after the Modern Family actress was spotted celebrating her birthday in Italy without the Magic Mike actor or her wedding ring.
"They have been growing apart for some time now and tried to resolve things, but they are focused on different areas of their lives," a source close to Vergara previously shared with PEOPLE. "They definitely love and respect each other, but once that initial passion dies down and other areas get in the way, then little differences get bigger."
