Winnipeg man up on child porn charges busted again

The Winnipeg Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Tech Crime Unit have charged a 45-year-old Winnipeg man for breaching the conditions of his release.

In April 2013, he was charged with possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography. The court case is ongoing.

Officers searched a home in the 400 block of Boyd Avenue on Tuesday evening and found that a man inside the residence had a computer, access to the internet, pornography and a data-eliminating program/device.

Having access to those items violated the conditions of the man's release.

The man was taken into custody and charged with four counts of failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking.
