Woman, 65, killed in 2-vehicle crash in south Fort Worth, officials say

A 65-year-old woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in south Fort Worth, officials said.

Officers responded to the intersection of McCart Avenue and Edgecliff Road around 4:10 p.m. regarding a major accident. The driver and front passenger of one of the vehicles were taken to a local hospital, according to police. The passenger later died from her injuries.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the woman as Laura Janet McTaggart of Euless. She was pronounced dead shortly before 7:40 p.m.
