Woman hospitalized after being hit by car in Sobeys parking lot
Halifax Regional Police say that a 52-year-old woman is in hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a car in a Dartmouth grocery store parking lot Tuesday evening.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Sobeys on Tacoma Drive as the woman walked through the parking lot.
A 19-year-old woman was driving the car.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene and waited for emergency crews to arrive.
Police are still investigating.
