Woman killed was set to testify for prosecution in murder case

A bail review has been postponed for the man accused of killing a Morgan State University basketball coach in 2018. Court documents reveal she was slated to testify in another murder case when she was killed. Kenneth Davis was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of assistant Morgan State basketball coach and substitute teacher Tracey Carrington. At the time of the September 2018 killing, Carrington was set to testify as a prosecution witness against brothers Norwood and Nyghee Johnson. The pair have since been convicted of killing two men at a Towson apartment complex that they met for a drug-related transaction.
