Xbox has confirmed the Game Pass free games coming to the service for the rest of May and the start of June.

Since the last update, Microsoft's subscription service has added Chants of Sennaar (cloud, console, PC), an award-winning puzzle game based around deciphering an ancient language, similar to the very popular Tunic.

EA Sports NHL 24 was also updated to be cloud streamable, while Immortals of Aveum (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC) was added to PC Game Pass and EA Play through the Ultimate tier.

Looking ahead, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC) is a day-one release on May 21.

This one is Microsoft's biggest first-party launches for the first half of the year, following up on the critically acclaimed title which deals with a warrior battling her own psychosis as well as a cursed sword, and ramps up the combat and expanded environments.

May 23 sees the addition of outer-space hospital simulator Galacticare (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC), and Hauntii (cloud, console, PC), a game brought to afterlife through line art animation, that casts players as a ghost that has a load of puzzles to solve, and the power of possession to get them done.

Hilarious co-op removal sim Moving Out 2 (cloud, console, PC) joins on May 28, while May 30 sees the addition of Humanity (cloud, console, PC), in which you control hordes of people as a God-like Shiba Inu, and Lords of the Fallen (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC), a dark fantasy action RPG with roguelike and soulslike elements.

Looking ahead to next month, June 4 sees the addition of Chinese puzzle horror Firework (PC) and robot restaurant management game Rolling Hills (cloud, console, PC).

A handful of titles are leaving Game Pass on May 31 as well, so if you want to keep playing them, you can purchase them for 20% off before that date.
