Calgary Metal Recycling plant fire extinguished
There has been another fire at a metal recycling plant in southeast Calgary.
Crews were called to Calgary Metal Recycling in the 3400 block of Ogden Road shortly before 4 a.m.
No one was injured and the fire is now out.
In 2012, crews battled another fire at this facility for two weeks. In that case, a heap of scraps known as "auto fluff" started burning.
The owners were later charged with more than a dozen offences under the Alberta Fire Code.
