FEATURE: Sask. budget word clouds

Finance Minister Ken Krawetz delivered his first budget speech on Wednesday, all 5,455 words of it.

Thanks to the Wordle website, here's a visual representation of what he had to say — the more often he said it, the bigger the word appears.

Common words like "a" and "the" as well as "Saskatchewan" (which appeared 99 times) have been filtered out.

"Advantage," as in "Saskatchewan Advantage," appeared 20 times. Another word Krawetz used a lot was "million": 58 times.

Meanwhile, NDP MLA Trent Wotherspoon used the language more sparingly in his reply to the budget speech, with a count of 1,245 words.

The word "government" appeared 14 times, but "people," "debt" and "fails" also figured prominently. His word cloud is below Krawetz's.
