It starts out like a stereotypical secret handshake, but Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving's ritual is drawing ire for how it ends.
The two Cleveland Cavaliers players were celebrating after Monday's win over the New Orleans Pelicans. They started by slapping hands, but then made a gesture that looked like they were smoking an imaginary joint.
As social media raised questions about the strange handshake, the Cavs had a response, according to beat writer Jason Lloyd.
The gesture had nothing to do with marijuana, Lloyd tweeted. Love and Irving were stroking their fake Movember mustaches.
