Northern Jubilee Auditorium and the art you might miss
It's a grand hall home to the ballet, the opera and the touring who's who of Broadway hits, but the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is also something of an art gallery.
According to jube director, Leanne Smoliak, there are currently 77 works of art on loan from various provincial art collections with a total value of $500,000.
All manner of visual art is on display in the public lobby, balcony entrances and tucked away in dressing rooms, green rooms and the conductor's suite.
