Geolocation: A Twitter Photo Project

Artists Nate Larson and Marni Shindelman have been working on a multi-year art project called Geolocation. The two use GPS data included on Tweets that are geo-tagged, travel to the original location where the person sent out the tweet, and take a picture; the result is an eerily surreal and lifeless scene, when compared to the life given by the tweet from an earlier time.
