Titan, the husky, reunited with owners after surviving 100 pellet shots

Titan, the husky found riddled with buckshot last month, has been reunited with his rightful owners.

Titan was first found wandering around St-Bruno on Sept. 30.

The dog was in critical condition, with more than 100 pellets lodged in his face, eyes and body.

The South Shore Animal Shelter that took Titan confirmed he has been returned to his owners. Police said they do not believe Titan’s owners were responsible for the animal’s injuries.

It turns out Titan had apparently run away from home. It is still unclear who shot him, or how he was shot.

But the shelter says one thing is for sure — being back in a familiar setting will be good for Titan’s recovery.

Police are still looking for the person who shot him.
