- The Ship – The Suits EP release show with Lady Brett Ashley and the Daisy Cutters at 10:30 p.m.

- The Fat Cat – Amy Wilson Album Launch at 10 p.m.

- The Levee – Arizona with The Different Strokes at 10 p.m.

- The Black Sheep – Bob MacDonald at 7 p.m. and Andrew Ledrew solo at 9 p.m.

Saturday

Good Food – The St. John's Farmer's Market at the Lion's Club Chalet starting at 9 a.m.

Some Good Market Goes to Town at St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m.

Bluegrass Brunch at the Ship at noon. Open to players of all levels, featuring guitars, mandolins, fiddles, banjos and bass, as well as singers.

The Swinging Belles Swing into Summer – A family friendly show at the Rocket Room. Kids under 5 are free. The show starts at 2 p.m., but join us for the Belle Hop.

The Craft Council Gallery – Opening reception for their annual members' exhibition at 2 p.m.

Milestones Mega Market – The biggest garage sale in the province at The Jack Byrne Arena starts at 10 a.m.

East Coast Trail Hike – An 11.6 kilometre hike (5-6 hours) on the Bear Cove Point Path (Kingman's Cove–Renews) starting at The Regina Mundy Complex in Renews at 9:30 with East Coast Trail volunteer Ed Hayden. There will also be a pick up at the Mount Pearl Canadian Tire parking lot (left side) at 8:00 a.m.

Community Fun Day – At the Manuals River Hibernia Interpretation Centre at 1 p.m.

Monday

Book Launch for Marlene Creates' Brickle, Nish and Knobbly, a book of Newfoundland terms for snow and ice at the LSPU hall at 5 p.m.

R.E.A.L. Sports Equipment Drive – Drop off your used sports equipment at the City of St. John's Recreation Experiences and Leisure Program (R.E.A.L.) office, 1 Crosbie Place, Crosbie Building. They're looking for sneakers, cleats, basketball shoes, baseball items, skates, helmets, dance items, running jackets and balls. Monetary donations will also be accepted. From 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
