1 Arlington restaurant fails, 8 schools receive perfect scores in health inspections

One Arlington restaurant failed but no restaurants were closed during Oct. 15-28 health inspections, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

Peter’s Chicken and Seafood, located at 1823 E. Abram St., scored 70 on Oct. 26. It scored the lowest out of the 125 establishments inspected during that time period and requires a followup inspection.

According to a city of Arlington spokesperson, perishable foods were not stored at a safe temperature and some food was stored on the floor of the walk-in cooler.
